Verse 6 has two phrases having 13 narrator words. The first phrase has these 7 words, ... ēsan de tines tōn grammateōn ekei kathēmenoi (There were and some of the scribes there sitting, ...). The 7 words are top down. The diagram shows two scribes now sitting down inside the house. The subsequent diagrams show two is the correct number of scribes.
