Mk 2:3 ... And they-come carrying before him a-paralytic, raised-up below-by four.

Verse 3 has 2 phrases containing these 9 narrator words ... Kai erchontai ferontes pros auton paralutikon, airomenon hupo tessaron (And they-come carrying before him a-paralytic, raised-up below-by four).

The first phrase of 6 words is bottom up. The second phrase of 3 words is also bottom up. The text has a continuity gap here that should be easy to fill in using your imagination after reading verses 4-5. All afflictions in the first century, including all the ones in this gospel, were believed to be caused by Unclean Spirits that caused distress or death to the ones they possessed. After speaking the word to them, the crowd of brown eyed men are replaced by four blue eyed men carrying a paralytic boy on a dark mat, which of course is an Unclean Spirit.
