The 4th phrase has these 7 narrator words ... chalōsi ton krabatton hopou ho paralutikos katekeito (they-lowered the mat upon-which the paralytic was-laid-down). The 7 narrator words are top down. The last 6 words are tangent to the mat holding the paralytic which is passing into the hole in the roof. Two men have entered the hole before the paralytic and are inside the house supporting the mat. The other two men are outside the house lowering the mat. When the paralytic is safely inside they will enter through the doorway. The Unclean Spirit (the mat) is in the foreground, the roof panel is on top of the roof, Jesus is in the background either hidden behind the roof panel or behind the two mat porters inside the house. 2:4b < Verses > 2:5a |
