| 7:01 |
And led together before him the pharasees and some of the scribes coming from Jerusalem. |
| 7:02 |
And having seen some of his disciples with common hands, ... |
| |
that is unwashed, ... |
| |
they are eating the loaves. |
| 7:03 |
For the pharasees and all the Judeans, ... |
| |
If ever they should not be washing hands to fist, ... |
| |
(then) they do not eat, ... |
| |
holding the tradition of the elders. |
| 7:04 |
And from a marketplace, ... |
| |
If ever they they should not be baptized, ... |
| |
(then) they do not eat. |
| |
and there are many other things beside to which they hold, ... |
| |
baptisims of cups, and pitchers, and pots, ... |
| |
and dining couches. |
| 7:05 |
And the pharisees and the scribes question him, ... |
| |
Why do your disciples not walk around according to the tradition
of the elders? ... |
| |
but with common hands eat the bread? |
| 7:06 |
Then he said to them, ... "Isaiah prophesied ideally about
you the hypocrites, ... |
| |
"That as it has been written," ... |
| |
"These people value me to their lips," ... |
| |
"yet the heart of them far away is removed from me." |
| 7:07 |
"Yet in vain they worship me, ... |
| |
teaching teachings as precepts of men." |
| 7:08 |
Having abandoned the precept of God ... |
| |
you are holding
the tradition of men. |
| 7:09 |
And he said to them ... "Ideally you have set aside
the precept of God |
| |
so that your tradition should stand." |
| 7:10 |
For Moses said, ... Honor your father and your mother, ... |
| |
and the one saying evil to father or mother, ... |
| |
let his end be death. |
| 7:11 |
But you say, ... If a man says 'korban' to his father or mother, ... |
| |
whatever you may have benefited by me is a gift (to God). |
| 7:12 |
(Then) you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. |
| 7:13 |
Invalidating the word of God, ... |
| |
to your tradition to which you have delivered, ... |
| |
and you do many like things. |
| 7:14 |
And again he called the crowd before him, ... |
| |
He said to them, ... "Everyone hear me, ... |
| |
and understand." |
| 7:15 |
There is nothing outside of the man entering into him which is able to common him, ... |
| |
but the things that come out from the man are the things that common the man. |
| 7:16 |
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. |
| 7:17 |
And when he came into a house from the crowd ... |
| |
his disciples asked him about the parable. |
| 7:18 |
And he says this to them, ... Are you also without understanding?
|
| |
Don't you understand that everything outside entering into the man is not able to common him. |
| 7:19 |
Because it does not enter into his heart but into the body cavity, ... |
| |
and it goes out into the latrine, ... |
| |
cleansing all the foods. |
| 7:20 |
Then he said, ... The thing going out of the man, that commons the man. |
| 7:21 |
For inside, out of the heart of men, the evil thoughts come out: ... prostitutions, thefts, ... |
| 7:22 |
murders, adulteries, greed, wickedness, deceit, folly, wicked eye, blasphemy, pride, imprudence. |
| 7:23 |
All these wicked things inside, ... |
| |
is going out and commoning
the man. |
