Mk 7:3b ... If ever they should not be washing hands to fist ...

This part of the verse is the start of an "if then" statement. This conditional "if" diagram shows two of the four washing their "hands to their fist" in a bowl of water. Two are washing, the other two have not put a single hand in the water.
