The fourth phrase has these 7 dialog words, ... "Outos ho laos tois xeilesin me timai" ("This the people to the lips me do honor," ...). In this diagram Jesus takes the place of God the father. The scribes "honor" God by praising him in public with their lips. But the Triune God is Jesus, and then the Father above him, then the two enclosed in the Holy Spirit. 7:6b < Verses > 7:6d |
