Mk 7:4a ... And from a marketplace, if ever not they wash (then) not they eat, ...

Verse 4 has 4 phrases and 23 gospel text words. The first 2 phrases have these 8 text words, ... mm, mm (3x, 5x).

Verse 7:4a is just a restatement of 7:3a with an added twist at the end. This hypothetical if-then diagram, like 7:3a, shows the pharasees baptising their hands in a bowl of "water" on the sign of a "marketplace." The scribes do not have a bowl of water to "baptize" their hands so their hands remaine koine (common, unclean).
