Mk 7:5b ... "Why do your disciples not walk around according to the tradition of the elders? but with common hands eat the bread?"

The second phrase has these 12 dialog words ... mm (Why xx not do walk around the disciples of you according to the tradition of the elders?).

The diagram shows the question has been asked. In order to show the disciples "eating the bread" there is no room for Jesus. Since he isn't mentioned in this part of the text he doesn't have to be drawn.

Even though their hands are common (unclean) the disciples are clean. Even though Jesus is not present in this diagram, when the disciples are "eating the bread" they are "eating or believing in the body of Jesus." The sacrament of communion is now one of the most important traditions of Christianity.
