Verse 13 has two phrases containing 15 dialog words. The first phrase has these 5 dialog words, ... akurountes ton logon tou theon ("nullifying the word of God, ..."). The 5 dialog words are top down tangent to the Holy Spirit holding God the Father. This phrase is the first of two that concludes the if-then argument. If the traditions of the elders deny a son to honor (value) his parents, this contradicts God's second precept, to love your neighbor - as you love your God (Mk 12:28-31). 7:12 < Verses > 7:13b |
