Mt 4:9a ... And he-said to-him, ... "(Then) these-things to-you all I-will-give, ..."

Verse 9 has 3 phrases containing 3 narrator and 8 dialog words. The first two phrases have 3 narrator and 4 dialog words in this order ... Kai eipen autō, "Tauta soi panta dōsō ..." (And he said to him, ... "(Then) these things to you all I will give, ...").

The 3 narrator words are bottom up the center and the 4 dialog words are top down the sides. To English ears, the dialog word order is not normal. This is an inverse if-then statement. It sounds better if Satan first says the four word conclusion clockwise ... "(Then) I will give all these things to you." The word "then" is understood.
