Jesus is tempted three times in the Wilderness

Matthew 4:1-11

The Sacred Geometry Story

Matthew's story of the Three Temptations of Jesus is a gematria masterpiece. It is told in the Gospels of Mark, Matthew, and Luke. There are no human witnesses, so it can only have come from Jesus himself when he took his disciples aside and explained everything in private to them. The first temptation occurs when Jesus is lead into the Wilderness under the Holy Spirit and under the Tempter, the Devil. After fasting for 40 days and nights Jesus was probably very hungry. The devil then appeared taunting Jesus that if he was the Son of God he should raise up these stones into bread. The Tempter would always paraphrase his temptations using gematria and Old Testament scripture. Jesus would then refuse the temptation with a different Old Testament scripture.
