Mk 14:68a ... The (1st denial) but he-denied-(it) saying, ... "Neither I-know nor understand you, what (you) are-saying."

Verse 68 has 5 phrases and 20 words. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd phrases have these 4 narrator and 7 dialog words, ... Ho de ērnēsato legōn, ... Oute oida oute epistamai su, ti (su) legeis [The (first time) but he-denied-(it) saying, ... "Neither I-know nor understand you, what (you) are-saying"].

The 4 narrator and 7 dialog words are bottom up. Jesus could be right in front of him, but Simon would deny it. Due to fear, he completely forgets what Jesus said a short time ago, "tonight, before a cock crows twice, you will renounce me three times" (Mk 14:30). Simon tells the maid and men he doesn't understand what she is talking about. The empty dialog word tangent to the mouth of the maid represents what she accused Simon of in the previous diagram. The 3rd phrase is "the first time" Simon denied Jesus.
