Mk 14:70a ... The (second time) yet again he-denied-(it).

Verse 70 has 5 phrases containing 13 narrator and 8 dialog words. The 1st phrase has these 4 narrator words, ... Ho de palin ērneito [The (second time) yet again he-denied-(it)].

The 4 narrator words are bottom up from Simon to where the maid looked down on the courtyard. After hearing Simon's second denial, either the maid believed what Simon said and returned to her duties or a messenger arrived with orders to return and not come back. She may have been ordered to bring another tunic to replace the one the high priest tore in verse 63. This is the second time Simon denied being with Jesus and his disciples. The gospel text does not record the words of Simon's second denial. The definite article "ho" (the) is nominative singular. The unspoken subject needs to be supplied by the reader or hearer. Possible unknown subjects are the pronoun "he" (Simon) or "the number of times" of his denial.
