The 6th phrase has these 3 narrator words, ... kai epibalōn eklaien (and casting on he wept). The 3 narrator words are top down. The word epibalōn, from epi (on/upon) and balōn (to cast) is ambiguous. Two possible interpretations for Simon's crying are "casting on" (ie reflecting his mind on) what Jesus predicted had just happened resulting in his subsequent feelings of shame and betrayal of the one he loved, that he then "cast on" his tunic over his head and ran away from the courtyard weeping uncontrollably.
