| 10:46 |
And they
are coming into Jericho, ... |
| |
And as he went forth from Jericho, ... |
| |
and of his disciples, and of a sufficient crowd, ... |
| |
the son of Timeaus, Bartimeaus, a blind beggar, was sitting down beside
"the way." |
| 10:47 |
And hearing
that it is Jesus the Nazarene, ... |
| |
he began to cry and say, ... "Son of David, Jesus have mercy on me"! |
| 10:48 |
And many
hushed him that he should be silent, ... |
| |
But the much more he cried out, ... "Son of David, have mercy on me"! |
| 10:49 |
And having stood, Jesus said for him to be called. |
| |
And
they called the blind man saying to him, ... "Have courage, rise, he calls you." |
| 10:50 |
Yet then casting
away his himation, leaping up, he came before Jesus. |
| 10:51 |
And having answered him, Jesus said, ... "What do you wish that I do for you"? |
| |
Then the blind man said to him, ... "High Rabbi, that I see up." |
| 10:52 |
And Jesus said to him, ... "Underlead, the belief
of you has saved you." |
| |
And immediately he saw up. |
| |
And he followed him in 'the way.' |
