Mk 10:46c ... the son of Timeaus, Bartimeaus, a blind beggar, was sitting down beside 'the way.'

The 3rd through 6th phrases have these 10 narrator words, ... ho huios Timaiou, Bartimaios, tuflos prosaitēs, ekathēto para tēn hodon (the son of Timeaus, Bartimeaus, a blind beggar, was sitting down beside the way).

The 3rd and 4th phrases, having 3 and 1 narrator words, are top down, tangent to the red-haired father and orange-haired son. The 5th and 6th phrases, having 2 and 4 narrator words, are bottom up the sides. The name Bartimaeus, from "bar" (son) already means "Son of Timaeus." Here is something many commentaries don't mention, the name Timeaus comes from the Hebrew word tame' meaning "Unclean." Bartimaeus therefore means "Unclean Son." Jesus was called the "Son of Man" in the previous verse. The name Bartimaeus brings to mind the parable of when the scribes, the ones having come down from Jerusalem, claimed Jesus was possessed by Beelzebul. For they said, "He has an Unclean Spirit" (Mk 3:22,30). Bartimaeus is also possessed by an Unclean Spirit because all Unclean Spirits in this gospel immediately recognize the divinity of Jesus.
