Mk 10:49a ... And having stood the Jesus said, ... "Call him."

Verse 49 contains 6 phrases and 17 words. The first 2 phrases have these 5 narrator and 2 dialog words, ... Kai stas ho Iēsous eipen, ... "fōnēsate auton" (And having stood the Jesus said, ... "Call him").

The 5 narrator words are bottom up tangent to the standing Jesus. The 2 dialog words "fōnēsate auton" (Call him) are tangent to the face of Jesus. Jesus is calling the men in the crowd or possibly some of the disciples (not shown) waiting near the men in the crowd. The text is not clear.
