Verse 50 has 3 phrases containing these 11 narrator words ... Ho de apobalōn to himation autou, anapēdēsas, ēlthen pros ton Iēsoun (The yet having cast away the himation of him, having leaped up, he came before the Jesus). The 11 narrator words are bottom up. The noun "to himation" (the garment) is a cloak made from wool or linen. In this diagram, the himation (garment) of Bartimaeus is the Unclean Spirit causing his blindness. The diagram shows Bartimaeus has "jumped up" (anapēdēsas) into the two white triangles to "cast himself away" (apobalōn) from "his garment." The head of Bartimaeus is now tangent to the feet of Jesus. Jumping up on the words supported by "the cast away garment" allowed all 11 words of the verse to become tangent the four witnesses, the cast away garment, Bartimaeus, and Jesus. The 5 words "Ho de apobalōn to himation" (The yet having cast away the himation) are tangent to "the cast away garment" of Bartimaeus. The garment, the "Unclean Spirit" still has a hold on Bartimaeus causing his blindness. |
