Verse 47a has 2 phrases and 7 words. The 1st phrase has these 3 narrator words, ... Kai akousas hoti, "Iēsous ho Nazarēnos estin" (And having heard that, "Jesus the Nazarene (it) is, ..."). The first 3 narrator words (and having heard that) are top down the center from Jesus to Bartimaeus. The next 4 dialog words [Jesus the Nazarene (it) is] are bottom up from the ears of Bartimaeus to the lips of the four men, the "sufficient crowd" who followed the disciples out of Jericho and have now transmitted this information to the ears Bartimaeus. The mirror image of these 4 dialog words reflected to the top of the graph by Mark the narrator confirms it. The top 2 words (the Jesus) are tangent to the triangle holding Jesus. The next 3 words (and Nazarene it is) are tangent to the triangle holding his title. The dark triangle (Unclean Spirit) of Timaeus was probably passed down by birth to Bartimaeus that caused his blindness. The Hebrew word tame' means "unclean." 10:46c < Verses > 10:47b |
