Mk 14:65a ... And some began to spit in to him, ...

Verse 65 has 6 phrases containing 22 narrator and one dialog words. The 1st phrase has these 5 narrator words ... Kai ērksanto tines emptuein autō (And began some to spit in to him, ...).

The 5 narrator words are top down tangent to the two streams of spit coming from the mouths of the two scribes. The first phrase is 5 words ending with "to spit in to him." The word "emptuein" comes from ptuo (spit) and ein (in) and is exactly tangent from the wiskered cheek and mouth of the scribes, the stream of ptuo (spit) coming from their mouths, to the word autō (to him), which is tangent to the top of the head of Jesus. The object of this verse, filled with sight gags, metaphors, and word play which ends the trial, is to gather Jesus, the elders, the scribes, and the chief priests all together like verse 14:53 that started the story.
