Mk 14:53a ... And they led the Jesus away before the chief priest.

Verse 53 has two phrases and 18 words. The 1st phrase has these 7 narrator words ... Kai apegagon ton Iesoun pros ton arxierea (And they led away the Jesus before the chief priest).

The 7 narrator words are bottom up. The 4 words "Iesoun pros ton arxierea" are tangent to "Jesus before the chief priest." The diagram shows the arrest party delivering Jesus in his linen wrapper to the chief priest.
