Mk 14:61b ... Again the chief priest was questioning him, and he says to him, ...

The 3rd and 4th phrases have these 8 narrator words ... palin ho arxiereus epērōta auton, kai legei autō ("Again the chief priest was questioning him, and he says to him, ...").

The 8 narrator words are top down. The word epērōta comes from epi (on) and erōtaō (a request made from a "preferred footing or position"), and the high priest has his feet on the triangle holding that word (epērōta). The text telegraphs the message that the high priest is about to ask a very important question (a question with some important signs).
