Mk 14:54c ... and he was sitting together with the guards and warming himself near the light.

The 3rd phrase has these these 11 narrator words ... kai ēn sugkathēmenos meta tōn hupēretōn kai thermainomenos pros to fōs (and he was sitting together with the guards and warming himself near the light).

The 11 narrator words are top down. The diagram shows Simon the Stone sitting down between two standing guards (who are not allowed to sit when they are on duty). They are all together warming themselves in the light. All the words are tangent to what they are describing. The 5 words "sugkathēmenos meta tōn hupēretōn kai" (sitting together with the guards and) are tangent to the 4 guards. The 4 words "thermainomenos pros to fos" (warming himself near the light) are tangent to Simon and the sign of his Stone. The Gospel text, the diagram, and logic says "to fōs" (the light) is coming from a fire placed on "o petros" (the Stone).
