Verse 46 has two phrases and 11 narrator words. The 1st phrase has these 5 words ... polloi gar epseudomarturoun kat autou (many for were testifying falsely against him, ...). The 5 narrator words are top down. The first 3 words "polloi gar epseudomarturoun" (many for were testifying falsely) represent one length testimonies against Jesus. The last 2 words "kat autou" (against him) is another batch of testimony. It is not possible for every one with their mouth on a word to be saying the same thing. Therefore they are all falsely testifying against him. 14:55c < Verses > 14:56b |
