Mk 14:49c ... "but rather that the scriptures be fulfilled."

The 3rd phrase has these 5 dialog words ... all hina plērōthōsin hai grafai ("but rather so that should be fulfilled the scriptures").

The 5 dialog words are bottom up the center and top down the sides. The verb "plērōthōsin" (be fulfilled) means to make full, to fill to the top. When the word "plērōthōsin" (be fulfilled) is drawn on the above diagram it shows "hai grafai" (the scriptures) were made more than full. The last 2 words "hai grafai" (the scriptures) are tangent to the top of the large white rectangle which represents an open Old Testament Scroll and what is written on it. The area of this rectangular scroll has the same area as six equilateral triangles. The commentary of the following verses will point out any Old Testament scriptures that were fulfilled in Mark's New Testament.
