Verse 19 has three phrases and 29 words. The first two phrases have these 5 narrator and 14 dialog words ... Kai eipen autois ho Iēsous, ... Mē dunantai hoi uioi tou numfōnos en hō ho numfios met autōn estin nēsteuein (And said to them the Jesus, "Not are able the sons of the bridechamber in which the groom with them is to fast")? The 19 words are top down. The 5 text words are tangent to Jesus. The name "Iēsous" (Jesus) is even on top of his body. The 14 dialog words are tangent to the eight equilateral triangles holding Jesus, his four disciples, and the basket of bread. The diagram matches the imagery of the text! 2:18d < Verses > 2:19b |
