Mk 2:18b ... And they come and say to him, ...

The second phrase has these 5 narrator words ... kai erxontai kai legousin autō (And they come and say to him, ... ).

The first 4 words are bottom up the sides. The last word "autō" (to him) of course is tangent to Jesus. The words "kai erxontai" (and they come) was the cue to bring the last 3 words up to Jesus. The 3 words "kai legousin autō" (and say to him) are tangent to the disciples of John and the triangle holding Jesus. The geometry is now in place for the next words said by the two pharisees and the two disciples of John.
