The last two phrases contain these 8 narrator words: ... eis olēn tēn Galilaian, kai ta daimonia ekballōn (into the whole of the Galilee, and the demons casting out). The 8 words are top down. The triangles that form "the whole of Galilee" can be transfigured into the house of Simon's mother in law. The last four words in this verse "kai ta daimonia ekballōn" (and the demons he cast out) refer back to the last four words in verse 1:34a "kai daimonia polla eksebalen" (and many demons he cast out). The two destroyed demons in this verse are identical to the two demons Jesus destroyed during the night before the house of the Simon's mother in law (Mk 1:33-34a). 1:39a < Verses > 1:40a |
