Mk 1:38a ... And he says to them, ... "Let us lead elsewhere into the neighboring village-towns, ..."

1:38a

Verse 38 has four phrases containing 3 narrator and 14 dialog words. The first two phrases contain the following 9 words: ...Kai legei autois, Agōmen allachou eis tas echomenas kōmopoleis (And he says to them, ... "Let us lead elsewhere into the nearby village-towns, ...").

The 9 words are top down filling the trapezoid. As soon as he said these words he was out of the wilderness and the disciples were leading inside each of the two rectangles, the sign for a "kōmo" (village) or a "polis" (town). The next diagram will explain why Jesus and the disciples will be doing this.
