37a

Verse 37 has 3 phrases containing 7 narrator and 3 dialog words. The first 2 phrases contain these 7 text words, ... Kai euron auton, kai legousin autō hoti (And they found him, and say to him that, ... ).

The 7 words are top down. The first two words of the first phrase "Kai euron" (And they found) are tangent to the four disciples and the other four men. The last word, the pronoun "auton" (him) is tangent to Jesus. The second phrase targets most of the same objects. The first two words of the second phrase "kai legousin" (and they say) are tangent to the four disciples and possibly the other four men. The last two words, "autō hoti" (to him that) are tangent to Jesus. The imagry of the Greek text reads as if Mark was looking directly at the diagrams for this verse.
