Jn 11:20a ... Then ~ the Martha, when she-heard that Jesus was-coming, met-under to-him.

Verse 20 has 4 phrases and 16 narrator words. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd phrases have these 10 words ... ē oun Martha, ōs ēkousen hoti Iēsous erxetai hupēntēsen autō (The then Martha, when she-heard that Jesus was coming, met-under to-him).

The 10 narrator words are bottom up. The 3 words "ē oun Martha" (The then Martha) are tangent to Martha. The 2 words "ōs ēkousen" (when she-heard) are tangent to the ears of Martha. The 3 words "hoti Iēsous erxetai" (that Jesus was-coming) are tangent to Martha, Jesus, and the bottom 2 corners of the triangle holding Jesus. The last 2 words "hupēntēsen autō" (met-under to-him) are tangent to the sides of the triangle holding Jesus. This verse doesn't say who told Martha about Jesus coming. It must have been from the two Jews because the next phrase says Mary was seated in the house so it probably wasn't her. The gospel text agrees with the images.
