Verse 13 has 2 phrases and 18 narrator words. The 1st phrase has these 8 words ... Eipēkei de ho Iēsous peri tou thanatou autou (Had-spoken but the Jesus about the death of-him, ...).

The 8 narrator words are top down. The gospel author refers back to diagram 11b where Jesus said ... "Lazaros ho filos hēmon kekoimētai" (Lazarus the friend of-us has-fallen-asleep). The diagram shows Lazarus has closed his eyes inside the dark equilateral triangle, the sign of death. He will remain that way until Jesus comes back to raise him.
