Jn 11:13b ... But ~ they suppose that about the slumber of sleep he-was-speaking.

cc

The 2nd phrase has these 10 narrator words, ... ekeinoi de edoksan hoti peri tēs koimēseos tou hupnou legei (They but suppose that about the slumber of sleep he-was-speaking).

The 10 narrator words are bottom up. This is a hypothetical diagram that shows Lazarus with his eyes closed inside a white equilateral triangle, the sign of "Life." When Jesus said "Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep," the disciples misunderstood what Jesus meant. "Falling asleep" is a euphamistic term for death. Lazarus will wake on "the other side" unless Jesus returns to resurrect him.
