The 4th phrase has this dialog word ... sōthēsetai ("he-will-be-healed"). The word sōthēsetai ("he-will-be-healed") is top down from all the disciples to the triangle of life holding Lazarus. The understood word "then" (the conclusion) of an "if-then" statement can either be true or false. The hypothetical diagram for this statement is true because it is what the disciples hope will happen. The real-life diagram and statement is false from what Jesus knows. The disciples do not know it yet, but Lazarus has just died. Jn 11:12b < Verse > Jn 11:13a |
