Mk 15:16c ... and they call together (the) whole of the cohort.

The 3rd phrase has these 5 narrator words ... kai sugkalousin holēn tēn speiran (and they call together whole of the cohort).

The 5 words are bottom up. The first 2 words "kai sugkalousin" (and they call together) are tangent to the 2 soldiers who scourged Jesus and are now calling the cohort together. The last 3 words "holēn tēn speiran" (whole of the cohort) are tangent to the other two soldiers and two officers. A Roman cohort numbered 480 men but when support troops are included, the number was about 600 soldiers. Therefore, in the diagram, each man represents about 100 foot soldiers. Jesus is observing everything.
