| 14:12 |
And on the
first day of unleavened (bread) when they killed the
passover, ... |
| |
his disciples say to him, ... "Where do you want us to go to prepare so that you may eat the passover?" |
| 14:13 |
And he sends away two of his disciples. |
| |
And he
says to them, ... "Under-lead into the city." |
| |
"And you
will meet a man bearing an earthenware vessel of water, follow
him! |
| 14:14 |
"And
wherever if he enters, tell the House-Ruler that the
Teacher says, ... |
| |
'Where is my guestchamber where I may eat
the passover with my disciples'?" |
| 14:15 |
"And he
will show you a large upper room having been
spread ready. And there prepare (the passover) for us." |
| 14:16 |
And the disciples went out, and they came into the city. |
| |
And they found just as he said to them. |
| |
And they prepared the passover. |
| 14:17 |
And of evening (opsias) having come, he comes with the twelve. |
| 14:18 |
And of them lying back and eating, ... |
| |
the Jesus said, ... "Amen I say to you, ..." |
| |
"that one out
of you will betray me, ..." |
| |
"the one eating with me." |
| 14:19 |
They began to be sorrowful, ... |
| |
and to say to him one by one, ... "Not me!" |
| 14:20 |
And he said to them, ... "One of the twelve, ..." |
| |
"the one dipping with me into the dish." |
| 14:21 |
"Indeed the 'Son of Man' under-leads just as it has been written about him." |
| |
"But Woe to the man through whom the 'Son of Man'
is given up." |
| |
"Ideal to him if that man was not born!" |
| 14:22 |
And as they were eating, having taken bread, ... |
| |
having blessed he broke, he gave to them, and he said, ... |
| |
"Take, this is the body of me." |
| 14:23 |
And having taken a cup, having given thanks he gave to them, ... |
| |
and drank out of it everyone. |
| 14:24 |
And he said to them, ... "This is blood of me of the [New] Testament, ..." |
| |
"the (blood) being poured out over many." |
| 14:25 |
"Amen I say to you, ..." |
| |
"That no longer will I be drinking out of (fruit) born
of the vine, ..." |
| |
"till the day whenever it is, I may drink new in the
Kingdom of God." |
