The fourth and fifth phrases have these 9 dialog words ... kai apantēsei humin anthrōpos keramion hudatos bastazōn, akolouthēsate autōi ("and will meet you a man an earthenware-vessel of water bearing, follow to him!"). The 9 words are bottom up. The first 3 words "kai apantēsei humin" (and will meet you) are tangent to the triangle and city holding the two standing disciples. The next 4 words "anthrōpos keramion hudatos bastazōn" (a man an earthenware-vessel of water bearing) is tangent to an incognito Jesus (the Teacher) carrying a huge earthenware vessel of water. The first 3 words are tangent to the images of the 3 nouns "a man, an earthenware vessel, and water." The identity of this "man" (Jesus, the Teacher) was purposely ambiguous, he wasn't about to tell his two disciples they would be meeting the one who arranged the meeting. The noun "keramion" (earthenware) comes from "keramos" (clay), the noun "hudatos" (water) is tangent to the head of Jesus and the water under the triangle, and the verb "bastazōn" (carrying) in his hands. The last 2 words "akolouthēsate autōi" (follow to him!) is tangent to the triangle holding "him." 14:13b < Verses > 14:14a |
