Mk 14:3a ... And of him being in Bethany, ...

Verse 3 has 7 phrases and 28 text words. The first phrase as these 5 text words ... Kai ontos autou en Bēthania (And of being of him in Bethany, ...).

The 5 words are bottom up such that the head of Jesus is tangent to the top of the white equilateral triangle tangent to the top of the white hexagon inside the green hexagram. The name Bethany (Bethania) means "a house of misery or affliction." The diagram for the next phrase will show how appropriate that title is for the cured leper who lives in this house and for the wrongly accused leper (Jesus) who was quaranteed, and who is now about to be annointed with nard for death.
