Jn 2:22a ... Then when he was raised from death, ...

22a

Verse 22 is in the future after his death on the cross and his resurrection from the tomb. The three phrases contain 23 narrator words. The first phrase has these 5 words ... Hoti oun ēgerthē ek nekrōn (when then he was raised from death, ...).

The first 5 narrator words are top down. This verse foreshadows future details described in John 19:38 through 20:18. The diagram shows Jesus rising from the dead in his glorified body after three days in the tomb. The small Star of David represent "linen cloths" for his face and body. There is also just enough room in the tomb for two angels, one at his head and one at his feet.
