Jn 2:17 ... The disciples of him remembered that written it is, ... "The zeal for your house will devour me down."

xx

Verse 17 has two phrases containing these 7 narrator and 7 dialog words ... emnesthesan hoi mathetai autou hoti gegrammenon estin, ho zelos tou oikou sou katafagetai me (Remembered the disciples of him that written is, ... "The zeal for the house of you will down eat me").

The 14 words are top down. With this verse, the author is applying some scriptural humor to the previous diagram. The disciples immediately think of Psalm 69:10 (The zeal of your house will consume me) when they see the open door of the Temple as a huge mouth swallowing Jesus down whole.

Jn 2:16b < Verse > Jn 2:18
