Jn 2:09a ... And as the 'master of the three couches' tasted the water having become wine, ...

Verse 9 has 4 phrases and 27 narrator words. The first phrase has these 9 words ... Hōs de egeusato ho arxitriklinos to hudōr oinon gegenēmenon (And as the master of the three couches tasted the water having become wine, ...).

The 9 narrator words are top down. The last six words all appear next to the images they name. The master of the feast knows nothing about what Jesus ordered the two servants to do. He is not in on the sign miracle Jesus has just done with the two servants.
