Verse 7 has two sentences and three phrases containing 13 words. The first sentence has two phrases containing these 4 narrator and 4 dialog words ... Legei autois ho Iēsous, "Gemisate tas hudrias hudatos" (Says to them the Jesus, ... "Fill the waterjars with water"). The 8 words are top down. The 4 narrator words "Legei autois ho Iēsous" (Says to them the Jesus) are tangent from Jesus toward the two servants. The 4 dialog words "Gemisate tas hudrias hudatos" (Fill the waterjars with water) are tangent from "Jesus" to the sides of the waterjars in the background that appears to be holding the two waiters who are standing on the ground in front of the large empty jars. The next diagram shows that when Jesus says something, the power of his words always makes it happen immediately and completely. Jn 2:06c < Verse > Jn 2:07b |
