The 3rd phrase has these 5 dialog words ... outos egenēthē eis kefalēn gōnias (This one has come to be into a head of a corner). The 5 dialog words are top down. The words "has become the cornerstone" comes from the second line of Ps 118:22. The Greek text reads kephalen gonias meaning "head of an angle" was used in Mark which can also mean "capstone of a pyramid" or "cornerstone of a building." An equilateral triangle has three equal "corners," the top one is called the "head angle." The previous diagram shows Jesus or the triangle below the door as the "rejected stone." This diagram shows "the rejected stone" as the "head angle." It also shows Jesus "coming inside of" or "becoming into" the "head angle." 12:10b < Verses > 12:11a |
