The second phrase has these 3 dialog words, ... kai gamēsē allēn ("and he marries another, ..."). The three dialog words are top down. From first century customs we can assume if a man is kissing a woman, he must be married to her. The diagram assumes the man is marrying a woman (the brunette) who does not have a husband. She may be a widow or a virgin. If the man's first wife (the blond) is alive, he is committing adultery against her. Jesus (God) says this act is a sin. 10:11a < Verses > 10:11c |
