Mk 10:2b ... they were asking him if it is lawful for a man to divorce a wife, ...

The second phrase has these 7 narrator words, ... epērōtōn auton ei eksestin andri gunaika apolusai (they were asking him if it is lawful for a man a wife to divorce, ...).

The 7 narrator words are top down. The pronoun "they" and the nouns "a man, a wife" are tangent to their images. The verb apolusai, translated as "to divorce," comes from the preposition apo (away from) and luo (to be separated from, loosed from). The words of the pharasees are holding the man and wife apart from each other as they ask Jesus the question about the law.
