The third phrase has these 3 dialog words ... kai tauta paratithenai [also these (are) to be served].

The 3 dialog words are top down. Just like as in diagram 8:6d, this diagram shows Jesus giving a rectangle full of broken fish to the twelve disciples who in turn are "serving" the sign of "about 4000" and the "crowd" personified by the twelve men below. The disciples have served the rectangle 24 broken fish, 50% of it's capacity.
