The second sentence has two phrases containing the following 4 narrator and 7 dialog words ... Eipan oun autō hoti, Echthes hōran ebdomēn afēken auton ho puretos (They said then to him that, ... "Yesterday, hour seventh left him the fever"). The first 4 narrator words are bottom up. The 7 dialog words are top down. Again, the sign of every word of dialog is also the sign of an hour of time after sunrise. The diagram shows the time yesterday was the 7th hour, the time immediately after the father asked Jesus to cure his son in verse 49. The words ho puretos (the fever) are tangent to the two halves of the "Unclean Spirit" Jesus broke in two when he immediately answered the Royal Official in verse 50a. Jn 4:52a < Verses > 4:53a |
