Jn 1:22a ... Then they-said to-him, ... "Who are-you, ...?"

Verse 22 has 4 phrases and 15 words. The priests ask John two questions. The 1st and the 2nd phrases have 3 narrator and 2 dialog words ... eipan oun autō, Tis ei (They-said then to-him, "Who are you, ...?").

The three narrator words are left, right, center. The two dialog words are bottom up. The priests will complete their first question to John in the next diagram.
