Mk 15:42b ... which is Sabbath-eve.

The 3rd phrase has these 3 narrator words ... ho estin prosabbaton (which is Sabbath-eve, ...).

The Greek word "prosabbaton" (sabbath-eve) comes from the preposition pros (before) and the noun Sabbaton (Sabbath), meaning "Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath." Therefore, the word "prosabbaton" is another name for Friday. Another Gospel states that "it was the Day of Preparation, for that Sabbath was a High Day." This means that Saturday was a double Sabbath because it was also the first day of the Feast of Unraised Bread.
