Verse 47 has 2 phrases and these 12 narrator words ... hē de Maria hē Magdalēnē kai Maria hē Iōsētos etheōroun pou tetheitai (The yet Mary the Magdelene and Mary the (mother) of-Joses observed where he-was-laid). The 12 narrator words are bottom up from the two Mary's and Joses to the top of the tomb. The 5 words "hē de Maria hē Magdalēnē" (The yet Mary the Magdelene) on the left is tangent to Mary and Joses the right. The last 3 words "etheōroun pou tetheitai" (observed where he was laid) are directly above Joses over the stone blocking the entrance of the tomb. But what time is it? If James and Joses represented the hours ten and eleven in verse 40, mentioning just Joses in this verse with no other women implies that hours 10 and 11 have passed. The time is now the end of hour 12 (6 PM our time). 15:46g < Verse > 16:01a |
